This month, the WCA celebrates its volunteer activities and community partners that the WCA has held fundraisers for, made cash donations to, collected in-kind gift items for, and supported through our volunteer efforts. These partnerships allow us to meet our mission and expand our impact on the issues that affect women and children in our community. They also give us an opportunity for hands-on work with a variety of organizations working to address these issues and inspire us to do more.

Happy Half Hour at 5:30 p.m.

Catered Supper will be provided at 6:00 p.m.

Contribution of a dessert or wine is always appreciated and welcomed ...

(but is not a requisite to attend.)

Announcements at 6:30 p.m.

Volunteer Recognition Program at 6:45 p.m.

After the Program, join us for the Keepsake Challenge Activity

Keepsake Challenge Activity

As part of the 1624 Keepsake Challenge, citizens of Albany will create 1,624 hand-painted trading cards at events and locations throughout the City of Albany. Pieces will be displayed at Albany City Hall in April, as a prelude to the Annual Tulip Festival. Then, the cards will be used to create a work of art to be presented to Albany’s Sister City in the Netherlands, Nijmegen. This gift is a symbol of the revitalization of the Sister City relationship and Albany’s commitment to establishing an ongoing cultural exchange.

Bring your artistic talents; we will provide the art supplies.

Help us include our beautiful Historic Club in this great Albany project.
