THE WOMAN'S CLUB OF ALBANY
United in Service to Our Community Since 1910
All members are invited to attend the Building Committee meeting on Tuesday, September 5th, at 6:00 p.m. at the WCA. President Mary Thackeray will begin the meeting by addressing the tasks under way that will be part of the Building Committee’s work plan, and will outline her vision for what this committee needs to address.
As newly appointed Building Committee co-chairs, Connie and Paula are ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work. The first item on our agenda will be to revisit the Concept Design Study, a road map that will guide us in the maintenance and continued restoration of our beautiful building and plan an assessment of where we are in terms of ongoing maintenance and critical building issues.
The work of the Building Committee will help guide grant writing and fundraising efforts for major restoration and provide an ongoing calendar for maintenance and small improvements.
Everyone is welcome to attend. We are extremely lucky to have this building — a wonderful place for the WCA’s programs.
