Book Group Meets Sept 25th

The WCA Book Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 to discuss "Winter Sisters" by Robin Oliveira. The post-Civil War novel is set in Albany. It is available in public libraries and at the Book House in Stuyvesant Plaza. If you purchase the book there, mention the WCA book group to receive a discount.

Those who attended the July 25 discussion  of "Little Fires Everywhere" made some decisions about future meetings. The discussion will begin at 6:30 p.m., but doors to the WCA will open earlier so that people can set up any food items they bring or have time for informal  discussions. Meetings will wrap up by 8 p.m., with the last 15 minutes used to decide the next book and meeting date. If the group decides to discuss that evening's book further, the group  can decide to extend the time.
