Together Women Rise

This month's grant recipient is Village Health Partnership.  

The mission of Village Health Partnership is to prevent maternal and neonatal death during childbirth by building a workforce of nurses and midwives skilled in providing care in rural Ethiopia. This project aims to reduce rates of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality and prevent gynecological complications.

Our event is a potluck dinner with a small educational component. Money that otherwise would be spent on going out to dinner instead is donated to the project.
