This month we will have Bernadette McDaniel, Secretary to the Board of Directors of Things of My Very Own, one of the WCA's Community Partners. Things of My Very Own is a non-profit organization that provides crisis intervention services to children impacted by extensive abuse and/or neglect as well as those at risk of a Child Protective Services intervention. Their goal is to keep children together with non-abusive family members and out of the foster care system, whenever possible.

In addition, we will be collecting men's deodorant for their teens and laundry detergent for the families served by Things of My Very Own.
