Learn about our newest community partner, Street Soldiers, and get hands-on creating care kits!
Hear from Rene Fahay and Nancy Bacon, who represent Street Soldiers, a volunteer group that provides free food, clothes, diapers, sanitary products, hot meals, and other supplies to meet the needs of the homeless and poverty-level singles and families. Street Soldiers meet at Academy Park on the 3rd Friday of each month at 7 PM to deliver needed items, hot meals, and friendship without judgment to those in need.
Please consider donating the following portable items which we will assemble for our partners from Street Soldiers to distribute. These items should be small enough to fit in backpacks for the recipient to travel with. Items include:

travel-sized toiletries

Ensure
- AA batteries
- packs of snacks, nuts, and cookies
- non-perishable food in cans with pull tabs
- peanut butter
- individual packs of cocoa and coffee
- socks and gloves
- hand and feet warmers
- foot powders
