You Can Help Make This Big Fundraiser a Success

Where:

•  The WCA, 725 Madison Ave., Albany, N.Y. 12208

• Preview sale -- Thursday, Sept. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. Entry fee: $5.
• Sale -- Friday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 
  Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Donate:

• We depend on you for donations and help to make this major fundraiser a great success. So please bring your own donations and those of your family, friends and neighbors.
• Drop off jewelry donations at 2sDay on the Porch today (July 1) or Aug. 5, starting at 6:30 p.m.
• Drop off all other donations Tuesday, Sept. 2, and Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 4 to 7 p.m.
• Stay tuned for other potential drop-off times.
• Yes to clean, intact items such as women and children's fall and winter clothing.
• Yes to vintage and new furniture, lamps, small appliances, tools, yard and garden items, art, holiday and household decorative items; accessories (hats, scarves, purses, shoes, jewelry); tableware, glassware, linens, rugs, toys and books.
• No to mattresses, bed pillows, couches, large appliances, vinyl records, car seats or exercise equipment which will not be accepted.

• Planning it: All who are interested in helping or learning more about the sale are encouraged to attend a Zoom planning session on Thursday, July 17, at 6:30 p.m. Please use the link below to join:

• Helping to receive, sort, price and display items before the sale.
• Staffing during the sale.
• Helping with clean up and distribution of unsold donations to our community partners and other organizations. 
• An eblast with a link to sign up for shifts will be coming. You will be able to sign up on the WCA website.
