Writers' Reading Group
The Writers' Reading Group aims to foster creativity and connection among our members who write or are interested in writing.
Our next meeting will be held on July 27 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. To beat the heat, we plan to meet at the Bethlehem Public Library (451 Delaware Ave., Delmar, NY 12054).
As a result of some rescheduling through the spring months, we will (finally!) be discussing "A Swim in a Pond in the Rain" by George Saunders. In this craft-focused masterclass, Saunders examines seven classic Russian short stories, pairing each with an in-depth essay on craft and structure.
We will also be talking about future book selections, field trips and next steps for our chain novel at this meeting.
