United in Service to Our Community Since 1910

The Woman's Club of Albany is one of the oldest not-for-profit community organizations in the Capital Region.  We donate to local organizations serving the needs of women and children, volunteer for a wide range of projects,   and offer opportunities for new social, professional and community connections.

 Annual WCA

Friday, September 6th from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Saturday, September 7th, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Members, family and friends are asked to donate their unwanted treasures. Donations can be dropped off September 4th and 5th from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm.  We are in need of volunteers to help sort, organize and clean up.

For More Information see the Garage Sale event page or contact the Club.

Thanks to Darryl McGrath and Howard Healy, editors of "I'll Be Home," for a great conversation at the WCA on Aug. 14. Their book is a collection of writings by the late Jim McGrath, for many years the Times Union's chief editorial writer. The editors donated proceeds from the sale of the book that evening to the WCA porch fund.

Shown in the photo are, from left, Joann Crupi, moderator, and Howard Healy and Darryl McGrath.
