The Woman's Club of Albany is one of the oldest not-for-profit community organizations in the Capital Region. We donate to local organizations serving the needs of women and children, volunteer for a wide range of projects, and offer opportunities for new social, professional and community connections.

The Tea Committee proudly presents the 2024 Tulip Tea, complete with a new menu of tea sandwiches, catered desserts and more. Guests can celebrate the Capital District’s Dutch Heritage with fun photo opportunities. 

Mimosas will be available for purchase. All guests will receive a commemorative champagne flute hand-painted by members of The Woman’s Club.

The Tulip Tea is a major fundraiser for the Club.

Exciting News!

The WCA Now Has T-shirts!
 

  Not just T-shirts, but also long sleeve shirts, V-neck shirts, and hoodies! These are being produced for the club by a local, female-owned business and will be delivered directly to you! 

Wearing a WCA shirt will show your involvement and raise awareness of our wonderful organization. These shirts are perfect to wear when volunteering at a WCA event, attending a WCA out and about or just showing your love for the club on your way to the market.

 Community Service at Work




WCA Community Service Committee members filled holiday bags for FOCUS food pantry families. 

Members generously donated over 100 children's books for Grassroot Givers to provide to migrant children. 

WCA Community Service Committee members volunteered with the Street Soldiers of Albany distributing items donated by WCA members at a recent Street Soldiers event in downtown Albany to assist the homeless.

Capital Improvement Projects

The lights are on!

The final piece of our front porch makeover has been completed. The beautiful lighting we were waiting for has been installed along the accessibility ramp.

Our iconic porch pillars, porch ceiling and front and side windows have been repaired, thanks to additional generous donations. 

We're focusing next on repairs to the side porch, off of our newly paved driveway.  Updated bids are being sought for the porch work. Thanks to all who generously donated to this capital improvement effort on Giving Tuesday 2023.
