• WCA Members private group on Facebook.  Join the members-only group to start or continue a conversation among members. 

• Book Club. Meets every other month on 3^rd Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. to discuss books by women authors, chosen by the group. 

• Family Picnic at Lawson Lake in the fall. Members and their families enjoy hiking, sitting by the outdoor campfire, playing board games by the indoor fireplace, eating potluck salads and desserts as well as picnic foods provided by the club. 

• Rentals of Club discounted for Club members. 

• New Member welcome events. 
  
• Reduced admission for various events throughout the year. 
• Priority registration for WCA sponsored events, trips, tours, theater, etc. in the community. 
• Members Only Catered Events such as Cabin Fever Day and Annual Meeting. Members are entitled to vote on official business of the club including elections to the board. 
• Member Mondays. Generally the 4th Monday of most months, 6:00 p.m. happy half hour, 6:30 p.m. potluck supper, 7:00 p.m. program with activity or speaker. Often includes collections of items for our community service partners.
• Tuesdays on the porch or in the parlor. Informal gatherings featuring “a nip or a nosh” brought by members, and sometimes live music.

"When was the last time you did something that truly filled your heart and replenished your soul?

Last night at the Woman’s Club of Albany, we created cards to brighten the days of sick children. The cards will be sent to the​ Albany Ronald McDonald House and a national organization called CARDZ for KIDZ. It was such a wonderful way to be creative, connect with other women and hopefully spark joy for the children.

This community of women has been so warm and welcoming to me.
