Finance Committee:
Our program is a potluck dinner with a small educational component. Money that otherwise would be spent on going out to dinner is donated instead. Over the past several years, we have raised over $49,000 for Together Women Rise.
Please join us. Questions? Contact Rosemary Revoir.
Cheryl incorporates music (crystal bowls, harmonium, flute) into her classes where individuals practice safely at their own level. Please bring a yoga mat and use the side door entrance. This class is by donation. Contact Cheryl for more information.
Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County holds a weekly Sewing, English and Workplace Skills (SEWS) class at the Women's Club of Albany. This program is designed to teach immigrant/refugee women sewing skills as well as introduce them to workplace skills, Civics, and the English language.

Writers' Reading Group
For WCA Members and guest
A space for people interested in the craft of writing fiction to connect, discuss, and grow together.
Our first book selection is On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft, by Stephen King – a must-read for anyone passionate about writing and the creative process.
This book offers a blend of memoir and practical advice, giving insight into King’s writing journey and the techniques that have made him a master storyteller. Join us for a lively discussion where we’ll dive into King’s reflections on the craft, share our own experiences, and support each other’s creative endeavors. Participants are responsible for sourcing their own copy of the book, which is available at some local libraries and for sale in print, audio, and digital formats. Please do read the book prior to attending.
Flowers for Mothers' Day.
Join us in creating floral bouquets to share with residents of the Delmar Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.
